Payroll
Payroll for your league or tournament just got simpler. We utilize ArbiterPay to pay officials for most contests they work. We provide this as part of our standard services. For clients who prefer to pay the officials directly, we will provide assistance and resolve issues if needed. In addition, we can provide an easy to mail invoice for each official.

Game Schedules
Call The Game utilizes the Arbiter to schedule games.  We are also reviewing software that will assist directors in establishing game schedules.  Our goal is to make developing and managing schedules easy and efficient for both directors and officials.

Rules Education
Call The Game has expert knowledge of the rules of each sport we assign. We can assist the administrators and participants (i.e. coaches, athletic directors, parents) of your league in understanding the most current rules and their practical interpretation. We can coordinate rules review meetings and even help you establish league specific / special rules for your individual recreational league. A representative of Call The Game is happy to discuss your needs and customize a rules education program for your league.

Officials' Evaluations

We currently have an evaluation system for all our officials, from peer to peer observers in the field as well as input from coaches.

Game Review & Sportsmanship

Call The Game is more than happy to discuss a specific situation or rule with any coach or parent. We will also come to your organization and discuss rules and speak about the community benefits of good sportsmanship and professionalism on behalf of the officials, players, coaches, parents, and other spectators. This is a paramount emphasis and concern of Call The Game.

We understand criticism of the officials is an inevitable part of the sporting experience. We strive to make every call correct, but even best professionals in Major League Baseball (MLB), for example, are overturned on video appeal over 50% of the time! Youth sports officials do not have the luxury of video replay so it is our collective responsibility to understand there is a human element to each game and therefore promote and demand GREAT sportsmanship for all associated with the contest.

As a result of constant criticism, youth sports officials are quitting (and/or not signing up) at an alarming rate and many sports now have shortages of officials due to belligerent coaches, players, and spectators. Click here to see a 2015 info-graphic from Ohio University showing the nationwide decline of officials and its impact.

YOU can help turn this trend around by leading by example and exhibiting respect and courtesy for those who are trying to give back to the youth of your community.
